PAMPLONA, Spain - Spain’s largest fighting bulls lived up to their fearsome reputation, goring two and crushing at least seven people as thousands of daredevils sprinted down narrow streets Sunday in Pamplona’s annual running of the bulls. The second of eight bull runs in the weeklong San Fermin festival involved the black and reddish-colored Miura bulls, renowned as the largest fighting bulls in Spain. As they charged down the 800-yard route, two of them fell and, appearing to lose their way, turned on the crowd of runners. Two people were gored.

One wonders why you make a comment about San Fermin in February. San Fermin is more than a "crazy festival", and while you are right in that two brothers were hurt last year, they were not the only ones. Just with the best photograph. But la Fiesta in Pamplona, Spain is much more than this. The fiesta is a celebration of life but most people do not remember that it is a religious celebration as well. The fireworks in Pamplona is hardly EVER mentioned.. and it is a fireworks competition.. so it is VERY good. It´s a time for friendships, new and old. Some clubs (Peñas) gather from around the world every year, for friendships, for bravery, for the exiting week long day party found no where else. Music, dancing, drinking, parades, carnivals.. and more. It´s 1000% better than a U.S. rodeo and 10 fourth of Julys rolled into one.
